Day 287

Happy Valentine's Day! O'rien got a new little mini motorcycle that grandma and grandpa found for him. He thought it was pretty awesome. I think he was on a pretty good sugar high tonight as well. Running back and forth from the kitchen and living room like a wild animal, laughing all the way.

Day 286

So I found a stain in Rhayn's shirt today. I asked her what she thought it was. To me it looked like berries and it wasn't going to come out. She said, "I will get it out." So, I let her try to get it out. A little while later, she comes upstairs and says, "Meg come look at this." So, this is what I found. She obliviously made a huge soap sud disaster in her bathroom....or at least she claims she didn't realize it was happening. Good thing I didn't have to clean the mess. I just took the picture and bailed.

Day 285

Tonight was Katie's surprise birthday dinner. Monica bought Katie a shot, and the glass was huge. So, Monica was passed the cup. I would have posted a picture of Katie actually taking the shot, but I figured she wouldn't like the picture too much.

Day 284

Massages at Edgefield with the parents and brother. Nice and relaxing. After the massages we went to the soaking pool, had some dinner and walked around a little bit. Very nice to get a kid break for a few hours.

Day 283

O'rien's alphabet cards. He likes to read them with me, and he is starting to learn some of the words. He makes an attempt with most of them, but only a few come out right. He is on the right track though.

O'rien was driving Tigger around in his Jeep.

I took the kids to the park today. Just a little overview of what the park looks like. I was trying to get a different perspective on it. I was hoping OC would want to go back down the slide, but of course when I wanted him to he decided he didn't. Oh well, there is always next time.

Day 280

Typical feeding time for the dogs. Diesel stands back to wait for Titan to finish, before he jumps in. When Titan is ready for more Diesel moves right back out of the way.

Check me out! Wearing his football gear today for the big game. Too bad Steelers didn't win. I guess there is always next year.

O'rien likes to play dress up with his Halloween costume. He wanted to put it on today, so I let him. He ran around in it for hours.

Playing in the crib. He thinks it is a fun game to want to stay in the crib to play with his toys.

O'rien was watching cartoons on TV. He wanted nothing to do with taking a picture of his new haircut. I buzzed it today, because it was getting so long. I am not a fan, but at least it isn't in his eyes. The little squirm boy didn't really want to participate in the hair cutting process. Maybe next time it will be easier.

This was sadly my friend today. No, I didn't actually spend my day in the bathroom. I just needed to blow my nose a lot.

Kitty treats. O'rien loves to feed the animals. It is a fun game for him. Such a good helper.

Happy Birthday Dad! This was his special request oreo cake that I made for him. The frosting is my favorite part.

My two little monkeys checking out the elephants. We had a fun day at the zoo. O'rien thought the elephants were pretty cool. He didn't really want to leave them. Rhayn thought they weren't so interesting, but as soon as she walked away they started to make a bunch of noise. That spiked her interest and she came running back to them.

Rhayn and I made some litter bugs. We are getting the decorations ready for her awesome science birthday party we are planning.

Bridesmaid dresses anyone? We went and tried them on tonight, and then had some delicious Chinese food afterward.

I was starting my BMW today and O'rien decided he wanted to drive it. So, I let him hop inside to pretend. He was looking out the window of it, and the lighting hit just right. So, here is the unedited version of my picture. I love how the lighting made only him visible, and the car faded out as the background.
