I took this picture without reading the sign. I thought the Cinema part looked neat, and then when I got home I realized what the sign had said. I took this while sitting across the street at sushi with Katie, Andrew, Loyal and O'rien.
Rhayn was practicing her multiplication flash cards on the couch and O'rien thought he needed to practice too. He didn't want anything to do with the camera though.
O'rien was really into putting the stacking cups onto his head tonight. The first time he did it he used only the red one and it was placed perfectly on his head. It reminded me of a circus monkey with a little red hat.
These were the flower arrangements we made for Katie and Andrew's engagement party. I liked the way we had them all lined up on the bench for taking a picture, but it made it a little hard to tell where we needed to put in more flowers. They turned out really nice and the party was a hit.
Here is the finished product. I forgot to take a picture of the pond in the daylight, so this was the best I could do for night time without using my tripod.
I worked out in the yard trying to finish up some much needed yard work. In the process of moving some stones I came across a few big, huge, nasty spiders. This big black one happened to be one of them. I think I killed 3 this big today. So gross.
Today I finally used grandma's bread machine. I made Hawaiian sweet bread. I really should start to use this more often, just for the delicious smell that it leaves in the house.
This was the mall we hung out at while we waited for Rhayn to be dropped off. Too bad there were not really any stores to go shopping at, since we had to hang out for a long time. But, we did get our first Christmas present bought today at the Ross that was inside.
O'rien really loves his doggies. He was resting with Diesel on the dog bed. He had to wear his Steelers gear to support the team on game day. Good thing they won!
Today I spent all day reorganizing our master bedroom closet. Before today we had a bunch of shelving and not really any hanging space. It was time for a closet change. I finally finished unpacking the few boxes that had been hanging out in our closet since we moved in. They just had a bunch of stuff I didn't know where to put, and it finally all got a home. This may look like a small project, but it really was time consuming.
O'rien was getting a little crazy with his highchair tonight after we had dinner. Mom, Loyal and I were all sitting in the living room and he decided to bring his highchair out. The next thing we know he is standing on top of the tray and trying to do a balancing act. This kid is way too crazy and a little out of control some times.
The jalapenos from the garden. I think Loyal got a little too excited about them and picked them early, because they had no spice to them at all. I guess we know for next year.
Loyal was taking a break from digging the hole for the pond. I had to catch him in action actually doing yard work, because it never happens. We had a hard time figuring out how to get the liner in properly.
We finally got the wheel barrel from grandma's house. It actually was brought over yesterday, but it was dark outside by the time I got home last night.
This was Rhayn's coloring sheet she brought home from school today. It was just black and white, and I played with editing the color into it for practice.
O'rien enjoyed his dinner so much at grandma and grandpa's house tonight that we had to throw him right into the bath. What a messy face he still had by the time I got the pictures, and it had been way worse than this.
O'rien's rhino head. He bumped it today on a table at grandma and grandpa's house. The dang shoes were just in the way while he was walking. The lump was pretty good sized, and made him have a mini rhino horn.
