Day 266

So, this is what happens when top ramon gets cooked in the microwave for 4 minutes without any water. If you could only smell the worst smell I have smelt in my house from this awfulness. I think my microwave might be ruined as well. Rhayn forgot to add the water to her snack and this was the result. She didn't notice until the timer went off, and I came running out from my bathroom to see why I could smell something burning. The smell was so awful I had to take the kids downstairs immediately, and open every window and door in the house. The melted plastic stench made it hurt to breathe in the air. So gross. I hope I can salvage the microwave.

Day 265

Tonight's dinner. It might not look good to you, but it tasted delicious. One of my favorite, easy homemade meals. Hamburger, gravy with potatoes, a side of green beans and a roll. The kids and I love it.

Day 163

I finally got something else that grew from my garden and wasn't eaten by the slugs. I had 2 tomatoes and a huge squash. I am not sure what I am going to cook them with, but I thought I wasn't getting anything this year from all of the slugs.

Day 142

Today I finally used grandma's bread machine. I made Hawaiian sweet bread. I really should start to use this more often, just for the delicious smell that it leaves in the house.

Day 136

The jalapenos from the garden. I think Loyal got a little too excited about them and picked them early, because they had no spice to them at all. I guess we know for next year.

Easy dinner night. Spaghetti with Italian sausage and brussel sprouts.
