Day 182

Happy Halloween! We went trick or treating tonight. Grandma walked around with us in their neighborhood. O'rien wasn't quite sure at the first house and had a little fit. Then he realized he was getting candy at the doors, and didn't want to be left out. So, he was darting up to every door waiting for his candy to get in his bag. The kids were the cutest little trick or treaters we saw all night. O'rien got a little burned out, but sissy wanted to keep going. So, he went back a little earlier and Rhayn and I headed out to load her bag up with more. She has so much candy I think she will be eating it for months.

Day 181

I took the kids to the zoo today. Rhayn took her friend Brooke. We did the Halloween scavenger hunt, and then got goody bags when we left. This evening we went to the Buck's Halloween party and the kids all ran around like crazy. We had a fun time. Tonight was also the first night Rhayn had a friend sleep over at our house since she started school up here. The girls had a fun night together.

Day 180

Tonight the kids carved their pumpkins. O'rien's Jack-o-Lantern is the smallest one. He helped draw the face, and mommy carved on the lines (with a few adjustments). It was similar to his drawing though. Rhayn got to carve two this year, and made some pretty neat ones all by herself.

Day 179

Evan was being cheesy tonight while I was at the Buck's house. We went over there to help get the house ready for the Halloween party this weekend.

Day 178

The view was from the window at my house. I was surprised to be able to see the mountains today.

Day 177

This morning O'rien tried to play with my camera. I took it from him and he ended up sitting next to me on the couch as I looked over some pictures. I snapped this really quick so he could just see himself on the camera. He loves to look at the pictures on the camera screen. He thinks he is a toddler photographer already. Too bad I couldn't have gotten the picture of him putting my camera strap around his neck, while he was about to pick up the camera and use it like mommy does.

Day 176

Tonight was craft night. Monica got distracted from her craft and started reading with O'rien. She was playing teacher.

Day 175

Tonight the kids did crafts. Rhayn worked on her scrapbook and calendar, and O'rien did coloring in his book. They are turning into good little artists.

Day 174

Took the kids to get pumpkins today. We went to BiZi farms in Vancouver. The kids had a lot of fun playing on all of the stuff. This was taken in the corn pit, which was like a ball pit filled with dried corn instead. O'rien wasn't too sure about it, because he couldn't move around in it very well. Rhayn really liked it though. We luckily escaped most of the days downpours while we were there too. We were expecting to get soaked and we just got a few drizzles. Today was a fun day. The only thing missing was Daddy.

Day 173

Dylan came over to let me take some pictures for the website today. We were planning to go to Edgefield for it, but O'rien ended up getting sick in his car seat before we even left the driveway. So, we had to take the car seat apart to clean it, and decided to do them in the yard at my house instead. I think we got some good ones, and Dylan liked about 25 for his Facebook page. I guess that is a good sign that I might actually be able to get customers.

Day 172

We went out to Edgefield to take a few photos. I attempted to do 18 month photos today. O'rien wasn't very cooperative. So I chose his silly face for today's post.

Day 171

I was planning to take photos of O'rien for his 18 month milestone today. It never ended up happening with the rest of the days events. So, dad and I took him to the park to play for a little while after a walk instead. He was a little skeptical of the bridge like usual, but he had fun.

Day 170

Today was craft night again. We made wreaths for $5 at craft warehouse. They were a little bit trickier than we anticipated them to be after we started them. At least they turned out cute.

Day 169

Craft night with Katie and Monica at my house. We made fun Halloween picture frames. Now I just need a cute picture of my 2 Halloween monsters to put into it.

Day 168

I went to a baby shower today. I won the contest for unscrambling the most words in the given amount of time. Can't wait to meet the little guy who is cooking in Erica's tummy.

Day 167

Rhayn went to the pumpkin patch for a birthday party today. This is the pumpkin that she got, and the rest is all decorations we need to still hang up for Halloween.

Day 166

Took the kids to the Maize at Sauvie Island. We got a little lost, but eventually managed to find our way out.

Day 165

Kane dog was hanging out with me on the couch tonight...for the few seconds I actually sat down there tonight.

Day 164

Lilah got her 6 month pictures taken today at the park. She is such a little cutie.

Day 163

I finally got something else that grew from my garden and wasn't eaten by the slugs. I had 2 tomatoes and a huge squash. I am not sure what I am going to cook them with, but I thought I wasn't getting anything this year from all of the slugs.

Day 162

We went to the park tonight with Melissa, Cole, and Lucas. I made Rhayn and O'rien take a few pictures so I can start my photography portfolio. This one happens to be unedited right now, but I think with a little editing it will be even better.

Day 161

While everyone was at the memorial service for Katie's dad, O'rien thought he needed to drive the John Deer. He was trying to push the buttons and I had to keep stopping him. He loves to be the driver. Isn't that a little scary since he isn't quite a year and a half yet? I can only imagine how it is going to be as he gets older.

Day 160

O'rien was stylin' in his sissy's shoes, while drinking his water out of an empty glass, and deciding he needed his pants off. What a character this kid is.

Day 159

Melissa was making funny faces, because she didn't like me taking pictures of her. We were at the Ringside for happy hour after we headed over to get our nails done tonight. Fun night with with the girls...and a few extras.

Day 158

O'rien has been so into his dads hats this week. He has been trying to put multiple hats on all at once. Maybe he is going to be a hat kid after all.
