Today we took a day trip to the beach. We went to Seaside, then headed down to get some Moe's, and made our final stop at the Tillamook Chesse factory. It was a pretty gloomy day, but we made the best of it and had fun. On the drive home I took the back highway, and was very thankful we made it home. We had a good scare, when a deer ran out into the road, and I barely saw him. I had to slam the breaks quickly, steer the car into the opposite lane, and just hope we missed each other. I think the car came about 5 feet from an accident. Very thankful for my vision and my good breaks, even in the rain with a very minimal stopping distance.
