Day 79

Two little trouble makers planning something together. Good thing they are so cute. We had fun with Katie getting wedding stuff, and then playing at the Bucks tonight.

Day 78

O'rien was giving lessons on how to use the bathroom sink. He was also showing me how to turn on and off the light and fan. He is a good teacher.

Day 77

Katie is my lovely model today. We went to Blue Lake Park to check out a potential venue for her engagement party. I made her stand for me so I could take a few snap shots. We were planning to do engagement photos today, but there was a change of plans. At least we did something wedding related :) Of course there were a few non-wedding related activities as well. We got good Thai food for dinner with Andrew, and a pedicure with Monica. We had to do something since I had a babysitter for the first time when I wasn't heading to work or the gym.

Day 76

Just got back from a photo shoot. I love taking pictures. Now the hard part was to decide on just one to post today. So, I chose this one of Kaiya and her mommy Terina, because it is so angelic looking. There are a few others from today that I posted on Facebook, but even that was hard to narrow down. I didn't want to overload with them, especially since her mommy and daddy haven't even seen them yet. I hope they like them as much as I do!

Day 75

Went shopping at the Children's Place today. They had some awesome deals and I had a coupon on top of the cheap prices. I think I made out pretty good with all the stuff I got for the kids, and for some birthday presents. This is the only shirt that O'rien got out of the deal, but he wasn't really in need of anything anyways. I just thought he needed a new doggy shirt. Plus it was a bulldog so it made it a must have for his closet. He loves his brother dog Titan.

Day 74

Today was a day of cats. Well not exactly, but O'rien made a new kitty friend. It was also the last day for my parents cat. So here is Ashley outside while I was watering the yard tonight.

Day 73

Today I worked in the back yard. I spent quite a few hours back there. My yard still needs some serious help. Hopefully this weed killer I bought today will help me out some more. I wish the people who lived here before us would have never put stupid pebble rocks in my yard. They are the nightmare weed area. I just put up these stars on the fence today as my finishing touch...or more like my starting touch. Hopefully sooner rather than later my yard will be presentable. As for now, this is as good as it gets for pictures of the back. You will have to use your imagination, and think of something pretty to send me good luck getting it to look like that. :)

Day 72

Rhayn left for Texas today. We had a long morning in the airport. Lots of long lines and a delayed flight. It was actually a good thing it was delayed, because she wouldn't have gotten any lunch if it would have left on time. We got there 2 hours early like we were suppose to for once, and it was definitely a good thing we did. O'rien was a good sport about it, but I felt bad he was trapped in a stroller and car seat for about 5 hours this morning with our long day dropping off sister.

Day 71

Just a picture of my flag flying high. I was just outside on the upper deck taking a few pictures, and this was my favorite one. I didn't take very many though. I was hoping to get the plane that was flying in to land at the airport. I did get it, but wasn't happy with the way it was looking. So, I took this instead.

Day 70

We went to the park today. Evan had fun playing with his uncle's motorcycle gear. What a silly kid.

Day 69

Today O'rien and Rhayn had fun playing on the skateboards. Rhayn took O'rien for lots of rides from the top of the cul-de-sac to the bottom while they sat down on it together. We had lots of fun playing outside and used the water table too. Later in the afternoon we went to the Sandy Mountain Festival, played at the park, and went to grandma and grandpa's house. Today was also the first day Jacob stayed over night without his parents. The kids had a lot of fun.

Day 68

We went to the zoo today, and of course I took my camera. However, I left the battery at home. What a bummer, because some of the animals that are never out were out today. Grandma and G-Gma also went with us. Would have been perfect for pictures. We went to the pool at the gym after the zoo, so I took this picture there. We had a lot of fun swimming. After we went to the pool, we went and had some delicious enchiladas that grandma cooked. The neighbors were having a little get together, so Rhayn had a lot of fun getting to know the neighbor kids at grandma and grandpa's house. We had a very eventful and fun day!

Day 67

This was the traveling Veterans Memorial out in Sandy. I pulled over on the side of the road to take a few quick pictures of it. Just thought it was pretty cool. We went to the Sandy Mountain Festival Parade tonight, and the kids had a good time. Then they got to play at grandma and grandpa's house in the little toddler pool and sprinkler to cool down. We had a good night.

Day 66

Today we got most of Rhayn's stuff moved in, and she came up to start her Summer here. This is just an update on part of her room, since I can't get the entire thing in one shot. The dresser didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped, but it works for now. At least she has a place to put her clothes, and it matches the wall paint in her room. She put up the circle stickers tonight, and it made the room come together a bit more. You can just disregard the extra stuff that is on the shelf. It will soon be hanging from the ceiling, but it was too late to start that project. I am not even sure that you can tell what I am referring to in this picture, but there are dragonflies and a butterfly that don't belong on the shelf. Hopefully in this corner we will soon have a chair for her to hang out in, but I wanted to wait until she got here to pick out a few things so she felt included in the process.

Day 65

I finally figured out an easy way to get him to smile, thanks to you-tube. He loves it, as if you couldn't tell from looking at his facial expression. I was on the back side of the computer screen while he was watching it. Best way to get an easy, genuine smile!

Day 64

This is the start of today's project. I finally got the paint off enough so I can repaint it. At least that is what I am hoping. As you can see the drawers were much easier to remove the paint from. I got a little too lazy when it came to the main sections, because it just wasn't coming off as easily. When I get it finished I will post an update of Rhayn's room and her new dresser. That way you don't have to wait in suspense any more to see what was going on with the paint and other random things I have put on here about Rhayn's room.

Day 63

Happy 4th of July! We went to a BBQ at the Neibert's house today. I just took a few snap shots of the Buck's, and this happened to be my favorite one. We had fun swimming in the pool and the hot tub for a little while today. O'rien really liked the hot tub, because the weather didn't permit very well for the pool. It was a little bit too cold, and mommy didn't last long in the cold pool water. The hot tub was much more appealing in 65 degree weather. We watched some fireworks tonight too, and O'rien seemed to be pretty mesmerized by them. I think it was half due to sleepiness and the other half from the actual fireworks flickering. It was a fun day, but we wish daddy could have been home to share it with us.

Day 62

Flip flops anyone? I got a little crazy with buying flip flops today. I wear them just about every day, and I found a coupon for $1.00 a pair at Old Navy. So, I went to 2 different stores so I could use it twice, since it was limited to 5 per purchase. I bought a bunch for myself and a bunch for Rhayn. At a $1 a pair I figured it was worth it to stock up. Now I will have some to match just about everything in my closet.

Day 61

Day 60

We had another fun day at the zoo with Jessica, Evan and Lilah. The boys did really good together in the double jogger stroller. Lilah slept for most of the day again, but maybe next time we go she will be more awake to play with us ;) O'rien was just checking out some of the stuff at the zoo in this picture.

Day 59

This came off of Loyal's birthday card from Grandma and Grandpa. I opened it for him, since he will still be gone this weekend for his birthday. I know I should have waited, but he won't care. I needed something for my picture today....and I did eat some fresh strawberries from my yard today. (Don't tell, but the strawberries were on my eggos with whip cream)

Day 58

Just playing around outside at my parents house. I don't even know how I got the background to look so gray, because that was actually a blue sky when I took it. I didn't edit it at all. It just happened to come out like that.

Day 57

This was my shopping bag from Target. Just some new curtains for O'rien's room, and some food inside my new crafting storage bin.

Day 56

O'rien wanted to help paint his sisters room. Thanks to grandma and grandpa it was almost finished today. Just a few more touch ups left and the paint will be done....well besides the dresser that still needs a fresh coat of paint. At least the hard part is done.

Day 55

Just being a silly kid while he ate his lunch and talked to daddy on the computer. He got his 5th tooth in today. You can't see it, but it is peeking through now.

Day 54

This is the project I am hoping to get started tonight, and have finished by the end of the weekend. It is going to go in Rhayn's room. It will sure feel nice to get this checked off of the to-do list.

Day 53

O'rien got his haircut today! Not the first time, but it doesn't look like this shaggy mop anymore. He has a big boy haircut now. This was right before the cut, while he waited in the chair.

Day 52

Today was mom's birthday. We went to dinner and then took the dogs and O'rien on a long walk to the park. Chloe found something good to check out while we played on the toy structure.

My poor truck had to go to the shop today. I have no steering :(

Best buddies riding the quad together. It kept bogging down from all the weight, but they had fun. They were both exhausted from lack of naps, and have dirty faces together from eating half a bag of Doritos. Little oinker boys. This picture would have been perfect if they would have been a little more lively. Oh well, it fits the moment and the day.

Nothing really exciting today. I just stopped at the park after the gym to take some quick pictures. At least I am getting good practice using different settings on my camera. Maybe by the end of this project I will fully know how to use it.

I don't exactly know what my boys were looking at, but it sure caught all of their attention....I think it might have been Ashley. I wish there weren't so many reflections in this picture, but it was the best one I took today. Mostly I just wish I wasn't in the background with my workout shorts...at least you can't see all of me :)

Day 42

I finally washed the truck. It is quite a task, that I never want to do. O'rien had fun playing in the water bucket before I actually started to wash it. He thought clapping his hands with the foam was awesome.

This was last nights craft project....or more like midnight project. It isn't really these colors, but I liked the glow in the dark effect.

Day 40

I know this is very similar to yesterdays post, but I just wanted to show my first attempt at ever using the BBQ by myself. I actually didn't burn everything like I thought I probably would, and I didn't even have anyone around to tell me how or what to do with it.

Day 39

I helped mom get skewers ready for their trip they are taking this weekend. I bet they are going to taste yummy. I guess I will get to find out tomorrow, because they are leaving extras for grandma and I to make for dinner.

Day 38

Just one of O'rien's toys. He kept taking it and all of the clean sheets and blankets out of the laundry bin. Then he would sit in the bin and grab the stuff to go back into it with him. He thought it was fun to play peek-a-boo with Titan while using this blanket, and standing inside the laundry bin.

Day 37

I almost forgot to take a picture today. Had to do some last minute photos. This was just some stuff I had around the house. I didn't edit it, but I thought the crazy colors were fun.

Day 36

These are my first babies, Titan and Diesel. Titan is not very easy to photograph. He always wants to be on top of the camera or in my face, so this is the best I could get. His tiny teeth are pretty funny looking though. These two are best buddies.

Day 35

This is the attitude O'rien has had the past few days. Such a grump. I hope this phase doesn't last long.

Day 34

Went to my parents for BBQ and a fire in the back yard. Good food and good night with the family. Wish daddy could have been there with us.

Day 33

Went to my cousins wedding today. It was a nice little service. I loved her bouquet, but I decided that this picture of the cake cutting represented more of the day (....plus I am usually a sucker for floral pictures so I post a lot of flowers all the time). This cake was home made by the grooms mother. She even hand made all of the flowers on the cake out of sugar. It was gorgeous and tasted delicious. I am so glad that they cut the cake when they did, because the lighting was perfect for pictures ;)

Day 32

Wishing the sun would come back out....then we can go out and do fun activities! This was just something my parents had sitting on the counter at their house tonight.

Day 31

O'rien was being a silly kid. He finally figured out how to push the button to make the propellers move on this toy. Once he did, it was the best thing he found all day to play with.

Day 30

Today was kind of a lame day. I didn't do much other than clean the living room and a few other things around the house. I did actually move the couches out and vacuum underneath them though. That was kind of an accomplishment, because we won't mention how long it has been since that happened. I got this crazy tongue shot of Ashley towards the end of this lame day, while I was deciding what to do for my picture. She has a quick tongue, so I never expected for it to end up in the shot. I guess I just clicked right at the perfect second. I have never taken a picture of a cats tongue sticking out before. Kind of strange.
