Day 129

O'rien enjoyed his dinner so much at grandma and grandpa's house tonight that we had to throw him right into the bath. What a messy face he still had by the time I got the pictures, and it had been way worse than this.

Day 128

Rhayn on her way to school for the first day of 5th grade. A little bit sleepy, nervous, excited and anxious all at the same time.

Day 127

O'rien's rhino head. He bumped it today on a table at grandma and grandpa's house. The dang shoes were just in the way while he was walking. The lump was pretty good sized, and made him have a mini rhino horn.

Day 126

Easy dinner night. Spaghetti with Italian sausage and brussel sprouts.

Camping day on Mt.Hood. Unfortunately I didn't feel so great today. Thankfully we escaped the rain for our last camping trip of the year.

Lauren and I took Laine and O'rien to the park today. It was for her 10 year reunion, but not many people showed up. The boys had a good time playing on the play equipment though. It was really hard to pick a picture from today. I liked too many of them.

We went to Bend for the weekend. O'rien and Laine had fun playing, and arguing over toys. Isn't that what cousins are for?

Day 115

Today was suppose to be the last day in the Dominican Republic for us. However, we had a nightmare flight and hotel experience and ended up staying one more night. This was while we waited for our first shuttle out to the airport. I just thought this tree was pretty crazy looking. It was actually right in front of our room and I had thought of taking a picture of it every day while we were there.

Day 114

We played out on the beach toys today. O'rien went on his first teeter-totter in the sand. He tried it out all by himself, and daddy pushed him way up high.

Day 113

We went on a tour bus and headed out to Catalina Island. This was a church that we saw from the bus as we made our way through town.

Day 112

O'rien had fun playing with the toilet paper. He would take it off the roll, and then throw it into the garbage. He was very entertained. At least he was cleaning his mess up as he was going.

Day 111

Hung out at the pools with the kids today. Daddy wasn't feeling well, so he stayed behind in the room.

Just got to the Dominican Republic. This was the center piece in the lobby. I just liked the flower that they had in it, and I didn't really take any other pictures today since we were on planes all day.

O'rien was playing with the toys in the airport while we waited for our flight.

Rhayn requested that today's photo be of her barbie. So here it is. Didn't have any good ideas of my own today, so I guess her request wins.

Today Loyal and I went to the street of dreams. This was a sink in the guest bathroom of our favorite house. Too bad we don't have the million plus to buy it.

Day 105

Rhayn was showing off her feet. That was all we could see of her while she was on the tube. Her body sunk way too far down on her 2 mile per hour ride behind the boat.

Day 104

Out on the boat doing some wake-surf. This was Lauren's hand while she was riding the surf.

Today started our camping trip to Prineville. This was on the way over the mountain to get there. We were leading the pack of our friends.

Diesel was bat-dog. Daddy likes to make him look silly.

Jacob was examining the lady bug. He thought it was pretty cool.

I took Rhayn school clothes shopping today. We did a fashion show to try outfits on tonight. She is going to be the best dressed kid at school.

I helped Katie finish up her engagement party invitations today. This was the finished product!

Day 98

Just got home from camping. You would think that O'rien had enough of his car seat, but I guess not. It was the first thing he wanted to play with, even though the hour before that he had been crying to get out of it. I guess it is a lot more fun when you aren't strapped in it.

Day 97

This was my homeless looking son. We were so dirty at this point. Getting ready to go home to shower and get cleaned up a bit. A normal bed was also starting to sound pretty good, because having a little burn and sleeping on a flat air mattress didn't seem so fun any more.

Day 96

This was the flag that someone had built and left at the camp spot. It was Diesel's favorite shade spot, since there was no shade during the day time here.

Day 95

First full day camping at Shasta Lake. O'rien was finding things to play with out at the camp spot. It was pretty hot out today, so it was the start of the Summer sun burn....at least for lobster dads.

Day 94

Driving to Shasta today. The kids did pretty good on the ride down there. Scratched up the truck pretty good getting into the remote camp spot, but at least it is a free spot.

Day 93

O'rien tried on grandpa's shoes again today. He is infatuated with trying on shoes and walking around the house with them on. He is such a silly kid. This happened to be the only picture that I took today. I guess I just slacked off, because we were getting ready to head out camping tomorrow. Did a bunch of organizing and packing and just forgot to get out the camera. We did go to my parents for birthday dinner with my brother. Grandma made us my favorite box cake....yellow cake with chocolate frosting! Thanks grandma, and of course dad for making the Mexican feast I requested.

Day 92

Today was my 25th birthday. We took the kids and headed up to Seattle for family day. We went to Pike's Market, ate some Japanese food for lunch, walked the piers, had some good crab and steak for dinner at the Fisherman's restaurant and then got some delicious smelling ice cream. Too bad the cones that we had smelled earlier were all sold out, but the ice cream still tasted good. Here is a picture of some of the delicious looking produce that was being sold at the market. I only picked this picture for the colors. The others seemed so bland compared to this, but I did get a few good ones of the buildings and the water too.

Day 91

Today we took Rhayn to go ride on some friend's quads. She had a blast. She didn't want to stop even after her 3 crashes. I think the blackberry bushes won on her arms though. She is so hooked she is trying to convince us she needs a quad of her own. O'rien had a good time playing in the sand box and jumping on the trampoline today too. It was the perfect day to relax outside all day with the kids and some friends.

Day 90

These are all the kids I took to the park today. They all had a lot of fun playing tag, and hide and go seek on the big play structure. After the park we went back to our friend's house for BBQ and a campfire. It was a fun night. Rhayn had so much fun she stayed over for her first sleep over while living at our house.

Day 89

We went to Island Cafe at Hayden Island for dinner tonight. Rhayn had a lot of fun feeding all the ducks. She saw a black swan and thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Day 88

Driving lessons from daddy. O'rien really liked the race car at the bowling alley tonight. It was the best entertainment for him, because running down the alley way didn't really work out so well for him.

Day 87

Rhayn came back from Texas today. Daddy surprised her at the airport. She didn't think he was going to be home for a few more weeks. I made the kids stop and take a picture with their daddy while we were heading to baggage claim.

Day 86

Shopping day today. These are some of the new things that we got. Our closet was in need of an update, since most of what we have doesn't fit us any more.

Day 85

We got a new car today. It only took quite a few hours at the dealership as they usually do, but O'rien did pretty well while we sat there. Now we have two family cars instead of just the truck.

Day 84

Daddy and O'rien playing in the pool at Noah's 10th birthday party. Fun day in the sun. Felt like childhood when we all played out at Grandma and Grandpa's pool.

Day 83

We got free tickets to see Gretchen Wilson and go to the rodeo. This was the latest concert that I have ever gone to. She didn't start playing until 11:00pm. This was O'rien's first concert. He didn't make it through very much of the concert, but lasted for most of the rodeo.

Day 82

This is Abby waiting outside the gates to the Toby Keith concert. Too bad they wouldn't let me take my camera into the concert. A little disappointing, but the concert was fun.

Day 81

We took the dogs to the dog park. O'rien was watching them run around and playing in the field. The dogs were in heaven, because they haven't gone there in months.

Day 80

Daddy came home today! This was O'rien and his monkey waiting at the airport.
