Day 29

Katie's pretty engagement ring. Today was an experiment with Andrew's new camera, since I forgot mine at home.

Day 28

I know this is a pretty grainy picture, but I just felt like trying a new look. I played with editing, and just felt this looked the best for this image. The book that this came out of is a little older (...not too bad, but I actually bought it at a kids consignment sale....on a day I was feeling thrifty), so it is a little grainy to begin with. I picked this page out of O'rien's book, because I asked him to show me the duckie and he pointed right at it. Keep in mind that I haven't read this to him for at least a week or more, he has only read the book a handful of times, and I didn't point it out first. He then pointed to the duckie on the next page in the book after I asked him as well. He is getting so smart and turning into such a big boy!

Day 27

Each of us got a special note from daddy in the mail. They were very sweet, and will have to go in the scrapbooks for the kids. Thank you daddy. We love you!

Day 26

Just another rainy day. Not feeling so hot again, so we didn't leave the house. I wasn't very creative, but at least I took a picture.

Day 25

This is my advertisement...just kidding. I am hoping these two things can work wonders tonight. Haven't been feeling so hot today.

Day 24

O'rien had fun playing in the tub as usual. We use his purple cup at grandma and grandpa's to give him a peg-leg. Then he takes it back off and tries to use it to drink bath water. You can hardly see it here, but it is pretty narrow rimmed. I can't believe his little feet fit inside it, along with part of his leg.

Day 23

This was Evan's mischievous face. I told him not to eat the brush and he thought it was a fun game. At least I got a good smile out of it.

Day 22

This is the only pretty thing in my back yard right now. I really do have a lot of work to do back there this Summer. Today was only the second day of trying to tackle that project for the year I think. I do believe those yellow flowers behind the rose are more weeds wrapped up into my only rose bush, which really isn't even in view from the decks. You can only see this lonely rose from behind a fence we have up. Oh, what a project I have to do.

Day 21

I couldn't decide what to take a picture of, so while I was downstairs deciding I snapped this. He looks a little sad, because he wanted to be in the same room that I was in. As you can see, the doors were shut so he couldn't get in. He is a little mama's boy some times :)

Day 20

O'rien had a good time playing in his toy land today. He sat and read his books for about 30 minutes all by himself, after I had already read him about 8 books...that he actually sat in my lap and paid attention too. I was very surprised. I know he likes books, but he never pays that much attention to them.

Day 19

This is Cole. His mommy had some stuff to do today, so he came over to play with O'rien and I.

Day 18

This picture reflects the day pretty good. It was rainy, with a few glimpses of sun patches. We managed to sneak a long walk in during one of the sunny breaks. The boys all had fun!

Day 17

My son is so spoiled. He got 4 new pairs of shoes, and a bunch more clothes from grandma and grandpa today. I think his closet is going to burst! Thanks mom and dad :)

Day 16

My late night craft. I think I finished it at 1AM....so that still counts for today :)

Day 15

I finally decided today I would take a picture of my pretty Mother's Day flowers. I just couldn't resist any more. They are so pretty and fragrant. My entire upstairs smells yummy :) Good choice mom and O'rien.

Day 14

O'rien loved the swings so much. He just couldn't help but laugh and smile. This was the best shot I could get while trying to push him at the same time.

Day 13

I helped my cousin and her best friend get ready for senior prom tonight. They both looked beautiful!

Day 12

Just another day out working in the yard... I can't wait for my flowers to start blooming that I planted today.

Day 11

Gorgeous day at the zoo today. We had to hike a long way for parking, but it was worth it. Jacob and O'rien had a lot of fun seeing all the animals.

Day 10

We went to Evan's 2nd Birthday party today. I had a hard time deciding what picture to use for my project, because I liked too many. I chose this one, because it was just a lucky shot. I didn't even look through the lens. I just snapped away and hoped it would turn out good. I just like the strange angle, and the way it makes you frame in on him.

Day 9

This is a sign that I made in the wee hours of the night. It is temporarily hung in my laundry room, but I haven't decided if I like it there or not.

Day 8

Today O'rien and I found some cool stuff for the yard. We had fun shopping. I really like all of the stuff I found to decorate the yard. It still needs a lot more love, but it is on its way. This stepping stone was the best addition I put out today. It was one of my Mother's Day gifts from O'rien.

Day 7

Today was a great Mother's Day. O'rien loved the new water fountain at grandma and grandpa's house. All he wanted to do was play with it and put his feet in it. Silly little boy.

Day 6

Today was a good day. It was beautiful outside, so O'rien and I spent the day playing and working in the yard. While I was working I saw a dragonfly and a butterfly in my strawberry plants. Of course I didn't have my camera ready while I was working, because my hands were soiled from pulling weeds and such. So, the next best thing I could do to remember the pretty white butterfly and dragonfly was to take a picture of my fake butterfly decorating my strawberries. It doesn't do much justice to the real things, but at least I will remember the day. It was also O'rien's first time playing in the cul-de-sac and pushing his safari car around it. What a productive day we had together. I love my little helper!

Day 5

Lilah was giving me the stare down. I just started laughing when I saw this look and had to capture it.

Day 4

$32.25 in my pocket....it only took the entire truck bed up

Day 3

The dogs new view. This project should have been a quick one, but it turned into an hour and a half. What a pain. Hopefully it will be worth the work to keep the dogs off the deck.

Day 2

Today I tried to work out in the yard. Every time I went out the rain would start in. At least I got to shovel out the weeds from the driveway, and put my hose out (which I have been meaning to remember for a few weeks now). The crocs are what I have been wearing to do my yard work lately....thanks honey for not ever wearing them any more :)

Day 1

Here is the start to my photography project. I got the idea from a friend, and am excited that I saw it. Hopefully this will get me motivated to learn my camera better, and be a fun way to keep a journal of my life. Day 1 is also the same day I started back up at the gym.
